Consultations are held on working days by appointment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Maternity care: We have a 24/7 emergency service (made up of a gynecologist, a midwife, etc.).
Presentation of the service
The Maternity and Obstetrics Gynecology department of the Cheikh Ahmadoul Khadim National Hospital Center in Touba specializes in the care of pregnant women, from the antenatal to the postnatal period, as well as in the management of gynecological conditions. Our team of obstetrician-gynecologists, midwives and healthcare professionals are dedicated to providing caring, safe, high-quality care for women throughout their maternity and gynecological health journey.
Treated pathologies
We treat almost all gynecology-obstetrics pathologies including:
Monitoring of normal pathological pregnancies;
Emergency and planned cesarean section;
Gynecological: management of infertility, genital infections
Endoscopy, colposcopy, biopsies for the treatment of cancers
Management of gynecological emergencies including ectopic pregnancy and adnexal torsion;
Treatment of fibroids and ovarian cysts;
Cervical cancer screening and treatment of precancerous lesions.
Consultation: Consultations are held on working days by appointment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Hospitalization: All pathologies requiring hospitalization, those post-operated stable.
• Operating room: Emergency every day 24 hours a day
• Program set Tuesday and Thursday
The equipment:
Consultation rooms with office equipment and medical equipment necessary for the consultation;
A work room with 4 beds;
A delivery room with 4 beds;
An operating room with a recovery room equipped with a scope;
Hospitalization rooms with different categories (1,2,3) equipped with beds with wardrobe, bedside table.

The team behind the service
The CHNCAK Ophthalmology Department in Touba is made up of a dedicated and highly qualified team. Under the direction of Dr Alioune Diop, an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist, the medical team is made up of 5 obstetrician-gynecologists: Dr Aliou DIOP, Dr Sokhna DIOKHANE deputy head of department, Dr Amadou BADJI, Dr Khadidiatou NDOUR, Dr Ousmane Mamadou SALL. The paramedical team is made up of around 30 state midwives and a whole team behind them.
