The Neurosurgery Department at the Cheikh Ahmadoul Khadim National Hospital Center (CHNCAK) specializes in the management of medical and surgical conditions of the nervous system in both children and adults. Led by Dr. Papa Ibrahima NDIAYE, the department provides high-quality care through an expert medical team and state-of-the-art equipment. The conditions treated include brain and spinal tumors, traumatic and degenerative conditions, as well as neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders.

The Neurosurgery Service at Cheikh Ahmadoul Khadim National Hospital Center (CHNCAK) is equipped with modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art technology, ensuring advanced surgical and medical care in an optimal environment.
- Hospital Beds: 12 beds distributed across 4 double rooms, providing comfort and care tailored to patient needs.
- Intensive Care Unit: A dedicated room with 4 beds, fully equipped to handle emergencies and intensive care for patients requiring specialized attention.
- Additional Beds: Beds are also available in pediatrics and general surgery, bringing the total bed capacity to 25.
These facilities enable the neurosurgery service to offer comprehensive and personalized care, ensuring patient safety and well-being.

The Neurosurgery Service is led by Dr. Papa Ibrahima NDIAYE, specialized in central and peripheral nervous system surgery. The team also includes Professor Ndaraw NDOYE, Dr. Manal SGHIOUAR, Dr. Roger Mulumba, and Dr. Serigne Saliou MBACKE. They are supported by 4 state nurses and 3 assistant nurses.
